Party Poker is NOT for small players

I finally got a Neteller account and have just been screwing around with it, decided I would put in some money at Party Poker.

First of all, I was pissed when I realized the minimum deposit was 50 bucks. I mean come on, I just want to play a few hands of poker. So I read their rules and you can cash out whenever you want I'm like OK fine I'll play and just cash out whenever.

OOPS. Didn't read the part where you have to have 50 bucks to Cash Out also! What bullshit, they must make a fortune off of that. I was down to 30 bucks when I wanted to cash out and then found this out. So somehow I have to figure out a way to make 20 bucks.

Went into a .50/1 no limit cash game and waited for a big hand. Lost about 8 bucks before I finally hit an Ace high straight and got some idiot to call me even though in the chat right before he calls he says "KQ huh?" which is exactly what I had. Then he got pissed when I had the straight and called me a fuckin tool and a fish. I said you sir are a fuckin idiot, you knew what I had and called me and lost anyway! So that put me at 59 so i was finally able to cash out. I got lucky.

Also bad about Party Poker is that they don't have enough tournaments with 1 or 2 dollar buy ins. All this 6 dollar BS. I will never deposit money in there again!

Okay, that was uncalled for; sorry. You should always deposit enough so you have a comfortable bankroll. If you are brand new at party you can play at the "beginner tables" even if you aren't really a beginner. You should go back there and give them a chance. If you play online you should definitely have Party as one of your options. Don't give up. Remember the guy who lost you your straight? There are thousands of him.

$50 isn't even worth the time on the tables in my opinion. Playing $1 or $2 tournaments is a joke. Nothing real about that experience.

depending on the entries 1st can be a few thousand dollars. More often it's around 1200 or so.

mike what are u trying to accomplish playing poker ? most of us are trying to make a little more than 10 dollars a day .. dont bash party because they dont accomadate to your low standards.. if other sites have micro games and micro tourneys then by all means spend your time there!!!!

A couple of sites that take 25 min deposits are Sports Interaction and Poker Stars. both also offer the micro tables >02/.05 or .05/.10. dont quote me on this but i think stars may cover insta cash fees as well.........
